Established in 2010, Shree Banashankari Lingayat Education and Rural Development Society (R) is a nonprofit organization in Savalagi Village, Jamkhandi, Bagalkot, Karnataka. Our NGO is registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960. Our aim is rural development, women's empowerment, and self-employment training for rural women and youths. Objectives : •To impart computer education to rural students. • To provide financial assistance to students to complete their higher education. • To initiate and conduct various educational, technical training, from nursery to graduation level. • To promote child and women development. • To provide financial assistance to poor families and women.

A stronger and better world results from empowered women. Our organization is dedicated to giving women the tools, like education, training, etc., which are needed to be the catalysts for revolutionary social, environmental, and economic change in the Bagalkot district.
Computer Skills Training
Our objective for this activity is to bring computer knowledge to people who don't know the meaning of computers, to develop knowledge of information technology among rural women and youth, and to interact with computers. Quality computer education, knowledge, and guidance are provided under the supervision of experienced and qualified appointed teachers. We not only provided them with basic computer education but also introduced them to other courses like MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, and other commonly used software. 45 women and youth in Jamkhandi Taluk benefited through this activity.
Free Tailoring Course
Free Tailoring Courses for Women at Savalagi is to empower women. The courses are conducted by experienced trainers and skilled artisans with industry exposure. So far, we have reached 200 women in Savalagi Village.
Yoga Camp
We organize a 10-day yoga camp among the people of our Savalagi village. People learned yoga from Yoga Guru Shri. Venkanna Mudakannavar in Jamkhandi. Uses of Yoga : • Increases flexibility • Massage of all organs of the body. • Complete detoxification. • Excellent muscle tone.
Independence Day Celebration
We celebrated Independence Day at our office in Savalgi village. Our staff and volunteers participated in this event.It is the small change that makes the biggest impact.
